aboutusHOME Magazine's Mission

Our mission is to be the leading lifestyle publication in North Central Florida, while giving back to those who consider the heart of Florida HOME. By providing relevant information to enhance our community’s well being, we value the opportunity to entertain, educate and inspire you-- our neighbors.

HOME Magazine's Readers

HOME is the leading community and lifestyle magazine for North Central Florida. We are a family friendly publication that appeals to readers of all ages. Our primary focus is on the working families in the Alachua County area and surrounding markets, but articles are geared to reach all segments of the population.

The History of HOME Magazine

HOME was first published in October 2007. The name had a dual meaning, intending to feature stories on interior renovation and design and stories of successful people and companies that call our area HOME. Our company was founded on the premise that each publication takes on a life of their own and readers’ feedback plays a strong role in the direction of future issues. In 2008 we launched our electronic newsletter as a companion to the magazine and it is now distributed monthly to almost 10,000 readers. Because of increasing demand, we expanded the publication from a quarterly to a bimonthly. In 2009 we launched our digital magazine. Current tracking shows an average of over 50,000 hits per month to our website, the highest of any periodical publication in our area. HOME Magazine was named the new business of the year in 2008 by the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce.

HOME Magazine's  Advertising Opportunities

HOME’s advertisers are businesses that see the value of partnering with a reputable publication. Readers will be exposed to advertising in all of HOME’s facets – on the website, in our magazine and in our electronic news brief. Through media exposure and volunteer work, HOME currently sponsors over 40 non-profit organizations and events per year.

On an individual level, volunteering is essential to the team at HOME. Members of our staff dedicate their time to several of the area’s non-profits, including:
